OUR STORY

 Tom & Rosie met as family friends and quickly became close. The night they first met, Rosie’s late grandfather Bang said “why the hell isnt she with someone like him’ - little did he know his wish would come true . . . 

There were lots of fun date days out to the zoo, trips to visit Rosie at Uni and spontaneous nights out in watford however, it was the summer of 2017 in which they travelled to the Greek Island of Ios that their friendship deepened into something more.  

The summer that followed was filled with travel, laughter and memories that would last a lifetime. From the crazy party life of Ios, their adventure took them to the stunning streets of Paris in which they made their relationship official after drinking copious amounts of rosé under the Eiffel Tower accompanied by Rosie’s bestie Ellie, a block of brie and the silliest game of Odds (in which Tom lost and had to go Facebook official to announce the relationship).

Travelling together has always been a part of their love language, with hearts full of adventure - they set off to explore Australia. It was here they learned to surf, climbed mountains, camped with Kangaroo’s, caught up with old friends and met some incredible new people too. 

After having to return to the UK due to covid - the couple embarked on a new chapter, creating a life together in Berkhamsted. Together, they transformed a house into a home and then welcomed their new pup Oakley in 2023, making it complete.

The most magical moment was yet to come, in a surprise filled with love and breathtaking scenery, Tom whisked Rosie away to Whitsand Bay. There, against the backdrop of the Cornish coastline, picnic basket in hand with a bottle of Provence (of course) and their song playing in the background, Tom got down on one knee as the sun was setting and asked Rosie to be his wife.

The couple invite you to join them in celebrating this love that has grown from friendship, through adventures and into a lifetime commitment. In 2025, they will come together with their favourite people to mark the start of their forever.
